At a very young age, I knew that working with people made my heart the happiest…
And I’m not just talking about working with the “pretty” sides of people.
One of the most humbling and honoring aspects of my profession is to meet people where they are in the hard, confusing, and down-right, overwhelming aspects of life. Sadly, we cannot escape from pain and suffering in this life. Due to this, one of the most important things for me to convey to my clients is that seeing, feeling and expressing that is okay.
I am a fiercely passionate person and I approach my therapeutic work with the same type of gusto. I am deeply committed to issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion and will always be an evolving work in progress. My therapeutic work is relational, trauma informed, and culturally responsive. I utilize multiple modalities to provide my clients with the most effective therapy to address their therapy goals and needs. I strive for the highest level of practice standards in my profession and value the ongoing learning that will always exist.
